You can tell me as much, or as little, as you feel comfortable telling me. I will always have some questions and a plan around what we are aiming to achieve together and will guide this process for you, but this is flexible and will change session to session depending on what is important for you at that time.

Therapy can be really scary, and it is really normal to feel uncomfortable going into this. The first session we will discuss what you would like some support with, and I will create a personalised plan of how we could do that together, this plan is flexible, collaborative, and will change to meet your needs.

Relationship therapy can be really scary, and it is really normal to feel uncomfortable going into this. For the first session, I will see each of for separate sixty-minute sessions to get to know you as individuals, how you individually perceive the relationship, and whether couples therapy will be beneficial. After this, future sessions will be together. If I decide that couple therapy will not be beneficial then I will discuss individual therapy or refer you to someone who can support you. We will discuss goals and different approaches to best suit you and I will create a personalised plan to help you make the shift that you want to make which will be flexible and collaborative.
